They are sick and tired of being screwed by the 1%.
That 1% doesn’t just include Wall Street banksters, it includes congress.
Income inequality and wealth disparities are at all time highs. The middle class is fading away, while this becomes a nation of the elite, for the elite, by the elite.
An oligarchy is not the promise of America, that isn’t the American dream, yet that is what we have become.
Not everyone that is protesting has their talking points memorized and ready to go. They may not know who is more to blame, or what policies got us into this mess, but they do know something is horribly broken, and they won’t take it anymore!
These people come together from disparate fractions, they have different grievances, but they know one thing. Congress no longer represents the 99%, Wall Street capitalism no longer represents the 99%.
Occupy Wall Street, how long till we get occupy congress?
Nothing I can say will say it better than this clip can.
Another clip to chew on.

Amazing that this movie was made in the 70's and it remains pertinent today.
