That headline isn't hyperbole. Rick Perry has a new web ad ad on environmental issues attacking Mitt Romney for having said "I will not create jobs or hold jobs that kill people" when he was governor of Massachusetts. Check out the 13 second mark in Perry's web ad:
So I guess that means that Rick Perry isn't just for executing criminals. He also believes it's important to kill people to create jobs. And the most pathetic thing about all of this is that I'll guarantee you Mitt Romney will either flip-flop and take Perry's position, or he'll say that Perry was distorting his views. Either way, Romney will make it clear that he embraces Perry's position that people
should be killed in order to create jobs.
In addition to attacking Romney for (allegedly) not wanting to kill people, Perry also linked Romney to President Obama on environmental issues, specifically targeting Romney's support for carbon caps and Romney's belief that global warming is man-made. Of course, Romney has already flip-flopped on those things, so Perry may have trouble making his accusations stick unless he points out that you can't trust a single thing Mitt Romney says.
