I know the big thing in the "news" these days is either the OWS stuff or GOP debates. (Sidebar - Take a lesson in marketing guys, start calling yourself the 99'rs, who cares if it was originally about unemployment, OWS sounds like a syndrome.)
I'm going to focus on Mr. Cain and a simple request...
Stop saying bad things about him and focus on Romney.
Sure there is plenty to dislike about the both of them but in the end I'm all about winning and will do so at many costs, the least of which would be not focusing on a candidate that the GOP could send up to fight against Obama for the Presidency.

Page 11 will show something that bugs me and yet doesn't surprise me.
When people operate from the extremes they tend to get fixated on singular issues they feel are having the most impact on whatever is plaguing them. For many Obama's race and the race of people voting for him has been that issue. The belief by many that African-American voters have been either brainwashed by the democratic party or blindly loyal to the president has embedded itself under the skin of many a political junky and it is starting to have an affect on the GOP primary.
Fortunately for democratic voters the GOP has landed itself a salesman like few that enter the public square. Herman Cain is attempting to convince the GOP that not only is he the best economic candidate in the race, not only is he the most teabagginist, but on top of that he is the only candidate who will be able to peel off enough of "the black vote" to pry the presidency from the ever so sticky fingers of Barack Obama, and he is doing a damn good job of it.
The GOP knows Obama is going to reduce Mitt Romney to a blubbering pile of goo during the debates as soon as Obama mentions the word Obamaneycare. He won't be able to do that with the Cain-man.(i'm dreaming about a story coming out about Herman Cain and drug use, I want to call this guy co-cain more than I want to watch the Hobbit when it comes out.)
The problem Herman has in the general is that eventhough he polls above Romney among GOP voters and I hope to GOD they have a primary by Thanksgiving, he gets crushed by Obama in the general.
Is that messed up or what. The GOP right now has a preference for the black guy but when you stack the black guys against each other, he loses by a larger amount than the second place choice among GOP voters.
So please help me out a little, let's not give shermstick-herm(that was a low blow but you see how fun this could be) to tough of a time, the GOP is still working it out and he may just convince them.
Disclaimer - I don't have any evidence that Herman Cain every used drugs in his life and for some reason I doubt he has but it's just too easy to make up funny jokes about it. Sorry sir.
