SimCity 4's default tax plan defaults with a 9% commercial tax, a 9% industrial tax, and a 9% tax for residential. Sound familiar?
Did Citizen Cain really develop his masterpiece 999 tax plan along with non-economist economist, Bankster, and Koch lackey Rich Lowrie, or did the magic lightbulb illuminate over his head one night when he was gaming in the dark while high on pizza? We'll never know, but when the the lights come back on and the dry crusts rattle in the box, here's what we'll be left with:
. Paying taxes on food and clothing for everyone
. Putting Social Security at dire risk
. Penalizing you for having children (Cain's plan annihilates the Child Tax Credit, which can be up to $4000 per family)
. Penalizing you more if you have more children
. Throwing a wet blanket over the economy because your sales tax will virtually double
. Giving big, wet kisses to the already piggish-rich
. Shifting the current progressive tax scheme to one where the middle class assumes a massively increased tax burden
. Reducing the already hopelessly insufficient federal tax revenue base by approximately one-half
Lobbyist, Islamaphobe, race-baiter and job-killer Cain is a bad, bad guy. But he's increasingly earning another title.
Clown.
But the laugh would be on us, because Cain and his obscenely rich friends would all be living the life in God Mode.
