The mayor engages in class warfare on an unprecedented level.
His net worth is 20billion and he doesn't think the poor pay their fair share.
He refuses to raise taxes on the rich one cent.
His reason for not raising taxes on the rich?

If Mayor Bloomberg were president, he'd tax 'em all - not just the rich.
"If you want to raise taxes, don't pick one class of people and say, 'I think they have too much money' or 'I don't think they have enough money' or whatever,"
"Raise everbody's taxes 1 or 2 percent or whatever."
Mayor Bloomberg on Warren Buffets tax plan.
"I think a lot of it is just theater,"
in fact a very small percentage of this country pay a big chunk of the taxes."
Mayor Bloomberg on lowering deductions on those making over 10million a year.
"legislation that would decrease the tax deduction for those who make at least $10 million a year" “CRAZY.”
Mayor Bloomberg on how much taxes the ultra rich pay in NYC.
"One percent of the households that file in this city pay something like 50% of the taxes," explained the Mayor. "In the city, that's something like 40,000 people. If a handful left, any raise would make it revenue neutral. The question is what's fair. If 1% are paying 50% of the taxes, you want to make it even more?"
Maybe the reason the ultra rich pay 50% of NYC taxes, is that everyone else is in poverty! By the way, the other 50% is being paid by the middle class that are growing poorer by the day because they are paying this burdensome regressive tax.
You can't get blood from a stone, and if you aren't rich in NYC you are spending your entire paycheck on rent.
Mayor Bloomberg’s favorite reason to never, ever raise taxes on the rich.
"Don't try to raise the taxes on those who could pick up and move out tomorrow"
Let me get this straight- if he raises taxes 2% on NYC billionaires they are going to sell there 20million town house and move to suburbs? RIGHT!
Instead of raising taxes on the rich one penny to help pay for roads and rails, he is raising taxes on the poor by unprecedented levels.
Mass transit used to get support from the state and the city- that support was cut, so they have had to plan fare increases of 50 percent! The poor will be crushed by this huge regressive tax.
He is raising tolls by 50%, this will affect millions of middle class commuters driving to work. Tolls are going to be raised to 17 dollars. That wasn’t a typo; tolls are going to be 17 dollars!
A controversial aspect of the revenues raised by the price gouging on the tolls, is that they are going to pay for the world trade center site.
Triple AAA is suing the mayor for the price gouging on the tolls.
“The Port Authority forces bridge and tunnel users to fund cost overruns and subsidize the speculative and unprofitable reconstruction and operation of the World Trade Center from which toll payers receive no benefit,” AAA claimed in its complaint filed today.
Not to let this point escape,
He won’t even raise taxes on the rich to pay for costs related to the WTC project, but its fine if he pawns this off to the middle class.
He has raised fines, and added surcharge taxes on all utilities and increased the sales- all extremely regressive taxes on the poor.
Mayor Bloomberg, Winter is coming...
