Dear U. S. Attorney Duffy,

I followed with interest your press conference last Friday, especially the parts where you mentioned "energetic young men" jumping out of pickup trucks and running in and out of Medical Cannabis Dispensaries carrying "paper bags full of Marihuana."  I also enjoyed the part where you described these "so-called" non-profits, Doctors, Dispensaries and publications advertising the quality of the Medical Cannabis as a "pervasive, for profit industry."

Attorney Duffy, what about the Susan G. Komen Foundation and United Way?  These "non-profits" ADVERTISE, PAY EXECUTIVES HIGH SALARIES and IN GENERAL "make jobs for themselves" by declaring their efforts to be "non-profit." Technically, they are correct - but none of MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS or FRENEMIES make a HALF-MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR like the CEO of the Susan Komen Foundation - it's not just the Medical Cannabis industry whose "non-profits" might be looked at by your offices, or those of the IRS... It's ALL non-profits and the taxes NONE OF THEM PAY, in the name of "non-profit organizations," that need examining.

As long as YOU, the FEDS, let these egregious lapses of moral controls occur in ANY non-profit, YOU MA'AM, are guilty of discrimination against the disabled because the Medical Cannabis Non-Profits ARE MODELED AFTER THE NON-PROFITS YOU ACCEPT AS GENUINE, and that BESIDES the fact that, yes, Marihuana IS Federally prohibited - but, as you must know, there is no logical reason for the prohibition that was engineered by Randolph Hearst in 1937 so he could keep cutting Old Growth Redwoods for paper in California and elsewhere.  Adults over 21 deserve a choice other than ALCOHOL.

NOT TO MENTION THE TAXES IT COULD PROVIDE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

Next, these "energetic" young men jumping out of pickups are the ADHD kids, the Anxiety Kids, the ones the Federally-funded schools normally route straight to prison because they CAN'T SIT STILL IN CLASS - What kind of crime is that - a child who can't sit still in class?

Medical Cannabis WORKS for ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Aspergers/Autism Spectrum Disorders AND Depression - please donn't be so DISMISSIVE, it's not any fun to watch your male "misfit" child get further and further isolated within the schools until he is kicked out altogether - But by the look of you, so how would you even have ANY IDEA?  You are, quite simply, TERRIBLY INCORRECT IN YOUR STATEMENTS.

Please "GET" some COMPASSION somewhere... You could REALLY USE SOME.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
