Following on the heels of the fabricated Iranian plot to assassinate a Saudi Ambassador among other things on American soil, a movie plot so bad Rotten Tomatoes wouldn't even bother to review, our President Obama has requested information from U.N Nuclear Weapons Inspectors to aid in the propaganda effort necessary to lie the United States into another war. The long sought and awaited Iran war.
"President Obama is pressing United Nations nuclear inspectors to release classified intelligence information showing that Iran is designing and experimenting with nuclear weapons technology."

Meanwhile, up north, Canadian Prime Minister Steven "More War, eh?" Harper, is doing his part by calling the elected government of Iran the "probably the most significant threat in the world to global peace and security."

Then there is Tony Blair, former British Prime Minister chiming in saying , "Iran is the real enemy", and "I'd do it again, to Iran".

Foreign Policy Initiative Executive Director, Jamie Fly, has come out and said that "Until now, the president has chosen to be the hapless victim of Iran’s machinations. It is time for President Obama to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors and stand up to tyrants who kill Americans and threaten our interests. It is time to take military action against the Iranian government elements that support terrorism and its nuclear program. More diplomacy is not an adequate response."
FPI is the successor organization to PNAC, the neoconservative Project for a New American Century. Members include or have included most of the national security and defense officials under President Bush such as Dick Cheney, Elliot Abrams, Paul Wolfowitz, etc. and other notables such as Bill Kristol and Fred Kagan. You know, those guys that lied their asses off so they could use the United States millitary forces to invade Iraq.

Also, in keeping with the entire focus of the global elite, control of the money through private central banking, the banking card comes out.
"The Obama administration said it was "actively" considering sanctioning Iran's central bank in retaliation for an alleged Iranian assassination plot, a move that could severely damage Iran's economy and potentially provoke a strong response from Tehran."
Like Libya (did), Iran has one of the world's few government run central banks, outside of the control of the giant private central banks such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Bank of International Settlements.
Iran knows the deal on that. "Some Iranian officials have warned that they would look on such a move as an act of war."

Israel of course, wants Iran taken down more than anyone, followed by Saudi Arabia. The fear is Israel will attack Iran and force the United States to follow suit. Israel came close to getting it done under Bush (2008), but it was too risky at the time and the Bush administration did not signal support. Another window has opened and they just might act before it closes again.
"The administration is also weighing whether to designate elements of the Revolutionary Guards that control Iran’s oil exports, effectively banning purchases of fuel from Iran. Another option would be to require companies that sell refined fuel to the United States to certify that the fuel contains no Iranian crude oil. "
Meanwhile, in case more oil is needed if the supply from Iran is cut off, the President authorized U.S. troops in Uganda, just in case. Uganda has lots of oil but needs help getting it out of the ground.

There are plans. The Brookings Institute, one of the granddaddy foreign policy thinktanks funded by the .01 Percenters, and infested with the same neoconservative/pro-Israel mindset of PNAC, came out with a comprehensive analysis in 2009 that concluded the only recourse was an attack on Iran. Sanctions won't work, diplomacy won't work, only military force will work in the end.
Their 156 page analysis paper called, "Which Path to Persia. Options for a New American Strategy Toward Iran" analyzes all options and concludes the only way is war.

This time around might be different. The Global War on Terror has turned into the Global War of Terror. Round and round it goes, where it stops, nobody knows. OWS might want to take note. A war with Iran, a country with a large military, many weapons capabilities, a diverse and sophisticated population of over 70 million, and significant ties to China and Russia, just might take us to the brink. Jobs and economic fairness could take a permanent back seat.
