Who doesn't love a cute dog photo to start off a post?
Greed is defined as an intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth or power. Greed can be such a dangerous thing and it's a problem in this country and around the globe.
I worry because in this nation we're supposed to have a say. As a citizen of this country I have rights and I get to vote. But, if politicians can be bought then where exactly is my vote going?
What's so great about these rallies is seeing people really stand up for themselves. It's like we finally said, "Enough of this!" What's even better is it's not just one group of people though some have tried to play it off that it's just a bunch of hippies trying to cause some ruckus. However, that's just not the case - there are kids, adults, college students, war veterans, etc all pulling together.
Being 99% to 1%, I'd say we have the numbers and the crowds are growing with each rally and event.
I guess what I don't understand is where does being greedy really get you in the end?...What does it really get you in the end? Sure I'd love to have enough money to pay off my student loans and wander the globe with my camera for a lifetime (excuse me while I go daydream about this for a minute), but extreme wealth and power that you want to keep all for yourself? What is the appeal in that? Maybe some day someone can explain that to me. Until then, this photo should cover my thoughts on the matter:
