Rain at this point, but the snow is coming. OWS is equipped with Space Blankets and Tents, but there are plenty of reasons to worry. Leaderless and using slow-moving consensus democracy, the onset of the cold is the greatest threat yet to Occupy Wall St, and the Occupy movements across the country.
They handled the rain with an emergency General Assembly, I'm sure they'll be able to handle the snow.
There's a solidarity march planned today, and we'll bring you live coverage of that, as well as a brief live video below which tours the camp (I'll re-embed the recorded video after the live show so that people who check this diary later can still watch the report.
Today is going to be packed with events, and our reporters are ready. Stay with us.

8:12 AM PT: Update:
OWS Will march on queens today and RETAKE foreclosed homes for homeless families. We will have live video for you.
8:39 AM PT: It's snowing NOW in lower manhattan. Video incoming.
8:45 AM PT: When I said "Disorganized and Leaderless," I didn't mean it pejoratively.
There's no official command structure. Local consensus democracy is hard. The organizational structure is different from anything we've attempted before.
It's a good thing.
It's also worrying because, as I said, this has never been done before.
The snow worries everyone, and there are medics on the ground making sure everyone stays warm. There are space blankets to prevent hypothermia and a lot of other gear down there.
It is leaderless though, and that makes things tough. The GA has to make decisions, and as we've seen with the arguments over drumming, that's been really tough.
But things got done, and they'll keep getting done.
Plenty to be worried about: the NYPD, the cold, the snow, but this movement has seen way more successes than cynics would have thought possible.
We'll be bringing you live video soon.
8:51 AM PT: The queens march may be cancelled due to the weather. They want everyone to stay safe. We'll bring you updates on that soon.
8:59 AM PT: The Queens reclamation march has been cancelled. They don't have the gear.
9:02 AM PT: We're live now.
9:09 AM PT: We're seeing snow buildup on tents right now. THe snow is coming down hard in lower Manhattan this hour.
