I read, as one should, both Democratic and Republican blogs to keep my finger on the pulse of politics.
Based on recent reports, blog posts and commentary, Cain has sealed his own fate, by taking the Weiner approach to a potential scandal.
Deny, try to shift blame, then outright lie about it just before the facts come out.
Another one bites the dust.
So, the GOP is now left with a "Bad News Bears" lineup of front-runners.
Based on the current RW blogosphere's analyses:
Cain: A lying, sexual harrassing, race baiting, foreign affairs know-nothing.
Perry: A illegal alien loving, democrat-associating, lame debater.
Romney: A cult following, flip-flopping, blowing in the wind, elitist-robot.
Those R's that write/comment on blogs are now trying to rally more support for Perry, but it doesn't seem to be working...at the moment.
I believe there will be more movement to Perry, Paul and Gingrich, but which one comes out the winner remains to be seen.
Romney cannot, and has never, been able to garner more than 25%.
The GOP is split almost 50/50 between TPers and "old school" R's. This makes it incredibly difficult to predict with any certainty, the winner.
But I personally think Romney is going to win, as repulsive as that is to many R's, as he is really their only hope of any kind of chance at beating Obama.
Will america be willing to elect a Mormon?
I know religious views shouldn't make a difference, but reality is, they do.
Congratulations, President Obama, on winning a second term.
So, instead of spending time and resources preaching to the choir here about how bad Repubs are, let's use every ounce of energy on working and planning to elect BETTER Democrats.
If successful, the President will be given every opportunity to prove he's with the 99%.
9:11 PM PT: If I gave the impression that I'm advocating for complacency, forget it. I am not going to be sitting and watching. I'm advocating to use this bandwidth as it was intended, to elect BETTER dems, instead of more stories stating the obvious about Repubs.
