Well, geez. If nobody is going to do this I guess I might as well. I've been checking and checking the Recent list for this bombshell that is currently up on The Page:
RadarOnline reports fourth woman alleging Georgian sexually harassed her to hold Mon. afternoon presser with lawyer Gloria Allred in NYC.
It leads to this story, on Radar.com:
A new woman alleging sexual harassment by presidential hopeful Herman Cain will break her silence at a news conference with her powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred Monday afternoon in New York City, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The embattled GOP nominee has admitted that several women who worked at the National Restaurant Association during his tenure as president of the organization received settlements. Politico has reported that the settlements were given because of sexual harassment allegations.
I don't have a lot to add to this, except that this should just about do it for ole Herb.
Just wanted to get the breaking News out. Nothing on CNN or MSNBC yet. Dunno how credible this source is.. page looks very tabloidy. Anyway, there you have it.
Now confirmed by USAToday:
In a news release sent out by Allred, the woman allegedly sought Cain's help on an employment issue when he was head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. Allred said her client is not one of the three women mentioned in news reports about the scandal, which has roiled Cain's campaign.
The news conference, first reported by RadarOnline, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET in New York City.
"Ms. Allred's client will be the first to give her name and to speak out about details of what she alleges occurred between her and Cain," the attorney said in a news release.
Cain has vehemently denied committing sexual harassment.
Allred says the alleged harassment took place when her client sought Cain's help with an employment issue while she was working at the association.
