I'm not sure everyone outside Arizona quite appreciates the magnitude of the recall of Russell Pearce. Trust me. It's huge.
What I hope doesn't get lost on people is the work of Randy Parraz in making this happen. Randy essentially dedicated his life to this casue for the better part of a year. He worked tirelessly, and with incredibly efficiency. His efforts were truly heroic. When he set out to do this, I thought the odds easily were 100 to 1 against him (I helped him anyhow, though).
Randy has run for office before (AZ Sen, in 2010), but lost in a crowded primary. He also gave me every bit of help I asked him for in my Congressional run, and then some.
I hope he jumps in again someday and, if he does, I hope the support from the netroots will be as huge as what he just accomplished.
