No, seriously! You just have to learn how to read the story correctly. It's
all right here:
A group of conservative investors in Tennessee is suing a California businessman for allegedly conning them into investing in Tea Party HD, a TV channel aimed at tea partiers, that they say turned out to be a scam.
Tea Party HD was founded by Bill Hemrick and Anthony Loiacono in 2010, but Hemrick and the other complainants claim that Loiacono never put in his share into the project and used the rest of the funds as his “personal bank account.” The complaint says he used the money “to pay himself, his family members and his business, Heads & Tails Inc., ‘exorbitant rates’ for the few projects Tea Party HD undertook,” according to Brandon Gee of The Tennessean.
Really? Gee whiz, fellas! I thought the whole point was to kick money up the pyramid, and the free market would take care of the rest! Of course money is being taken from you! But it's being sent to "job creators"! Of course those "job creators" aren't putting their share into the project! If they have to pay their share, those jobs will never get created! Don't you see? Of course that money gets treated as a "personal bank account!" That's the whole point! Without increasing their personal bank accounts, how will the "job creators" ever create jobs? In fact, why would they?
Isn't that amazing? When they're taking money from others and putting it in their own pockets, wealthy teabaggers are patriots! When money gets taken from them and put in even wealthier pockets, they're plaintiffs! Help! Police! Courts! Do something! This kind of shit needs to be... regulated! We need the "nanny state" to step in and make things right! Because we didn't get to steal the money this time!
So, money got moved from your pockets into wealthier ones, in hopes that even more wealth would be created, and trickle back down to you. But it didn't work, so now it's a scam, eh? Take a number, losers! Get in a drum circle or something! What a bunch of smelly hippies! Does anybody even know what their demands are? Sheesh!
