- On the two-month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street this Thursday, occupiers in New York City hope to shut down the New York Stock Exchange. Nov. 17 has been declared a national "day of action," during which several national unions and many progressive organizations will participate.
- Occupy Oakland was peacefully evicted from their main encampment this morning. Mayor Jean Quan's legal adviser resigned in protest over the eviction.
- Also in Oakland, the ACLU of North California has filed a lawsuit against the Oakland Police Department for its treatment of Occupy demonstrators.
- Protesters at Occupy Cal (Berkeley) are trying to organize a campus-wide strike and day of action tomorrow in response to a confrontation with police last week. It is expected that they will be joined by a large Occupy Oakland contingent.
- Meanwhile, also at Occupy Cal, Chancellor Robert Birgeneau has granted amnesty under the student code to "all Berkeley students who were arrested and cited solely for attempting to block the police in removing the Occupy Cal encampment." Birgeneau had previously referred to the act of students linking arms to obstruct police as "not non-violent." The granting of amnesty for arm-linking comes after over 600 professors and instructors had signed a brilliant a letter of protest to the chancellor, and after some of the students who were beaten by campus police filed a lawsuit against the university.
- Scott Olsen, one of the veterans injured while protesting at Occupy Oakland, makes his first public statement. He is set to be released from the hospital, and will begin rehab soon.
- In Des Moines, local Occupy plans to protest the Iowa caucuses are gaining steam.
- Earlier today, Occupy DC disrupted a Chamber of Commerce luncheon, live on C-SPAN.
- Occupy Detroit acquires office space and housing.
- Even with hundreds of thousands moving their money, big banks are not done screwing you yet.

- Also over the weekend, police with assault rifles evicted Occupy Chapel Hill from a vacant building, arresting eight:
- Occupy Portland was evicted over the weekend, with 50 arrests. One of the protesters lost the use of his right arm. Some video of the eviction:
- Finally, a local singer in Hawaii performed a song he wrote about the 99 percent movement before President Obama and 19 other world leaders this weekend. He did not have permission to do so, but he did not get in trouble:
