Well isn't this just special! They can't afford taxes, but they can sure as hell find money to run expensive smear campaigns against corporate greed protesters while holding campaign fundraisers for Republican Presidential candidates.
It is my opinion that one of the central focuses of Occupy Wall Street should be getting the corrupting influence of money out of politics, and this is the perfect proof of why we must do so . . .
Two weeks ago, a leaked secret memo written by a Republican lobbying firm, Clark Lytle Geduldig & Cranford, outlined an $850,000 plan for the American Bankers Association (ABA) to combat the growing resonance of the Occupy Wall Street movement’s message — that we need an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthiest 1 Percent. (The ABA claims the smear campaign proposal was unsolicited and that they decided not to act on it.) Today, Politico Influence reports that one of the four masterminds of the proposed smear campaign, Republican lobbyist Sam Gelduldig, will be co-hosting a Young Professionals for Mitt Romney fundraiser in Washington D.C on December 14. Before becoming a lobbyist Geduldig was a top adviser to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH). This year, Geduldig has lobbied on behalf of various finance industry clients, including the ABA, Financial Services Roundtable, Financial Services Forum, MasterCard, American Insurance Association, and Koch Industries (which engages in significant commodities trading activities).

If a picture is worth a thousand words, I think this picture perfectly sums up the view of our founding fathers that Mitt Romney shares with Republican lobbyists like Sam Gelduldig.
More below the fold . . . .
At this point, GOP should stand for Greedy One Percenters.
Here we have Willard "Mitt" Romney, the guy who even flip-flops on his first name, being financed by the same lobbyists who have fought tooth and nail to make sure that Wall Street gets their fair share of everything, and I do mean everything.
Corporations are people too, my friend.
Especially corporations with lobbyists who hold fundraising events for multi-millionaires like Mitt Romney. When Wall Street isn't begging for corporate welfare and screeching about more tax cuts they are buying our politicians. A bunch of rich bankers and lobbyists, plotting on how to shut these noisy peasants up so they can get on with buying the Presidency and putting one of their complicit stooges in charge.
And they wonder why we Occupy. All day, all week.
