Your call, Daily Caller
Now that Boeing and the IAM have negotiated a new CBA which is very favorable to the IAM and where the IAM has agreed to withdraw its charges against Boeing over the North Charleston plant, will the Daily Caller acknowledge that its coverage, as well as its continued slamming of the NLRB, was entirely biased and unwarranted?
This settlement, in general terms, is essentially what the NLRB's Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon proposed before he issued the complaint. That being the case, the Daily Caller's attacks against Solomon and the NLRB have been shown to be groundless and unjustified. Certainly Solomon understood where the parties needed to be and the ad hominem attacks against him and his staff made by you and by others was most unseemly.
The accord may properly be seen, even though it is a non-Board settlement where Boeing does not admit to wrongdoing, as a recognition that the Union's charge and Solomon's complaint were in fact meritorious under the Labor Act. Will the Daily Caller admit it overreached in its attack-style reporting? Or is it unwilling to entertain the idea that it was mistaken and sought to malign the integrity of the Board's staff?
