I've been reading and watching the Occupy movement from a small mountain community in Colorado. As the movement continues to grow, the way the movement is perceived has changed. This town is not the most open minded when it comes to disturbing the status quo. But there are those in our community who are very talented, and support OWS. I would like to introduce a local band who wrote and produced a wonderful song about protesting and the movement, and a very talented videographer who put together a video I would like all to see. I hope MoT takes a look, because son, you are my voice too. You are the voice of the voiceless, you my friend, have taken on a large task, THANK YOU.
I'm not sure how to do this, but here is the youtube link.

The 60's anti-war protests on the East coast is where I earned my merit badge. Been chased by the dogs, tear gassed, and beaten. Sometimes when I hear about the Occupiers getting beaten and gassed, I shake with rage. I want to be there. I want to fight back. I want to protect these kids, our "kids". They deserve more than a beating, they deserve an education, (to the right wing, a beating is a lesson). We, as a nation, deserve better than corporate malfeasance. We the People deserve more than a corrupt government.
I just want to thank all the people who are in the streets participating in saving our country.
