Yes, that's right. Shakespeare
For About Dummies. Republican Dummies.
This morning in the J-Town Diary

Smileycreek posted this:
Trump is in high dudgeon over Michele Bachmann-- BACHMANN! of all people!-- turning down his debate invitation:
Said Trump: She came up to see me four times. She would call me and ask me for advice. She said if she wins, she would like to think about me for the vice presidency. Most importantly, I did a two-hour phone call for her with her people. ... And after all that, she announced she was not going to do the debate. It's called loyalty. How do you do that? It's amazing to me.
Smileycreek thought that this called for a Shakespearean quote and offered this one:
“Ingratitude is monstrous; and for the multitude to be ingrateful were to make a monster of the multitude; of which we being members, should bring ourselves to be monstrous members.”
Then I suggested this:
"This was the most unkindest cut of all;
For when the noble Donald saw her stab,
Ingratitude, more strong than traitors' arms,
Quite vanquish'd him: then burst his not-so-mighty
heart
This got me thinking that it might be fun to think of other Shakespearean quotes that might fit the Republicans. So put on your elitist thinking caps and see what you can come up with.
I'll start things off for Herman Cain:
"Sigh no more, Gloria, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever,
One foot in sea, and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny nonny"
OK, your turn. And remember, there will be a huge prize for the winner!!
( not really )
