How can anyone not see this?  here we are with the political theater replacing governing still one more time and the zillions of news articles, analysis, diaries, etc playing right along!  Let's hear all the pundits tell us why we are here.  I'd be so shocked if someone could give a sensible answer.  Self righteous democrats play the game and point fingers at the republicans...and the republicans....well they set the traps and watch the democrats stumble into them still one more time .  Hey!  There is only one answer at this point!  Shut the useless system down!  Shut it down!  Sure it will cause pain and suffering.  So did my wife's recent double mastectomy cause her pain and suffering to rid her of her cancer!  We have cancer or worse.  My amateur diagnosis is that it is terminal.  Read on below if want to experience more of my view on this nonsense.

You do not change things by repeating the same behavior over and over again and then expect different results.  Some call that insanity!

There is only one way out of this.  Shut the government down.  We use this technique in understanding systems with some success in experimental science.  It is not fool proof but it does give answers  When you take something out of a system its absence is felt where it has impact.  Where it has little impact things go on as they did before.  There are problems with this but we need not dwell on complex systems theory during this rant.  I merely want to get beyond this political theater that has everyone mesmerized still one more time.

We have people acting out their conviction all around the country.  They are being isolated as effectively as possible.  They see the handwriting on the wall and they know who really controls us.  The democratic party is controlled by the people they are struggling against.  It consistently shows its true loyalties.  It hides behind the possible consequences of a shut down.  Use the shut down as a political statement.  Show the people why we have a government!  Stop playing the game these fools suck you into.  You keep losing more and more and it only tells me that you really see it as inconsequential or even advantageous in some perverted way.

Stand up for what the people need!  Let the others play games with our well being and future but stop doing it yourselves in the name of the public good!  This government does not work.  This government DOES NOT WORK!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
