It's Duncan Hunter, the GOP son of a famously corrupt military-industrial complex champion congressman here in San Diego, named (!) Duncan Hunter.  Well it could be worse, my previous representative was "Duke" Cunningham, now in prison.  Here's my stupid letter to the current stupid ex-Marine Teabagger Congressman from San Diego.

I called your office here in SD today about the House votes on the payroll tax relief continuation bill passed by the Senate with bipartisan support. This bill is essential for continuing the recovery of our economy and providing support for the millions of folks thrown out of work by the recession.

I told your office that I was disappointed in the house GOP stance on this situation.  This is no time to be playing politics, which is all the house has been doing for the last three years.

You may believe that Rush Limbaugh's "I hope he fails" attitude should excuse your unwillingness to govern responsibly.  I don't agree.

You should resign if you don't want to take responsibility for seeking the best possible future for our country and our people.  That's all I have to say to you.

If you don't turn around right now, salute this country, and do your best to save it I'll devote time and money to getting you out of office.  Believe it.

So there, I don't expect any thing from this, its just one more brick in the wall.  But if we don't do anything, we can be sure nothing will happen to change things for the better.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
