"We'll see what happens," Gingrich said. "I think this is totally up in the air. And I think it's a little bit hard to know now."
Well, he's right. It is up in the air ... because he couldn't hold his lead. Perhaps if he'd realized that earlier in December—when he was busy declaring victory in the GOP nomination battle—things would be different than they are today. Sadly, he's gone from frontrunner to just another guy trying to beat Mitt Romney.
