Mitt Romney continues
trying to prove that he's conservative enough for Iowa Republican voters:
"The question is if I were elected and Congress were to pass the Dream Act, would I veto it and the answer is yes," Romney said.
"For those that come here illegally, the idea of giving them in-state tuition credits or other special benefits, I find to be contrary to the idea of a nation of laws," Romney said.
There! Even though I'm a former Massachusetts governor who didn't always want to make gay people and abortions totally illegal, for Pete's sake, I think that kids who have been in this country for as long as they can remember and have led exemplary lives should be deported to countries they haven't been in since they were infants or toddlers. So clearly I'm conservative enough for Iowa. Vote for meeee.
