For every candidate, Republican or Democrat, there is a question that, to my knowledge, has not been asked in any "debate," press conference or interview. We have heard every candidate, including the incumbent President, say that Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East and that it is a bastion of democracy in a sea of extremists.
I feel it's terribly important to distinguish between the state of Israel and the leadership of the country under Binyamin Netanyahu and the Likud.
So briefly, the question is: If Israel is placed in jeopardy because of actions by other states in the Middle East, would you (the candidate) send U.S. troops to defend Israel?
