Former Congressman Alan Grayson has a diary up on the rec list now asking you to support Dennis Kucinich. This diary is not about Alan Grayson. I hope he returns to congress in Orlando's new district.
No, this diary is about Dennis Kucinich.
I am here to ask you to not support Dennis Kucinich in any way, and in fact, if you would, please support his opponent, Democratic Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur.
Why? Because Dennis Kucinich is a traitor to the Democratic Party.
OH-09: Aww, isn't that nice: Alan Grayson says he's helped raised $50,000 to keep Dennis Kucinich in Congress—the same Kucinich who paid for robocalls in support of a GOP-drawn gerrymander of Ohio that would lock in a 12 Republican, four Democrat House delegation for the state.

Perhaps you remember the Morning Digest at this website entitled:
Dennis Kucinich betrays Ohio Democrats on redistricting?
OH Redistricting: Guess who really, really, really loves the new Republican-drawn map of Ohio? And guess whose any remaining shreds of credibility as a useful member of the Democratic party went up in smoke? That's right: Dennis Kucinich. The eight-term Rep. is so fond of the map—and of further Republican efforts sway the legislature's black caucus to vote for it, in order to get over the two-thirds support mark and circumvent a statewide referendum against the map—that he's been lobbying Cuyahoga County legislators to vote in favor of it. Not only that, but he's also robocalling voters, asking them to lean on the same legislators! The weird thing is... the new GOP map isn't even close to a guarantee of Kucinich's return to Congress. While he'd have a safely blue seat if he survived the primary, he probably starts at a disadvantage in the Dem primary against the labor-friendly, less-flaky Rep. Marcy Kaptur, whose district was partly merged with his.
Even more disturbing, Republicans are planning a vote on a new map in the state House later today. Roll Call reports that the GOP isn't sure it has sufficient votes for the plan, but certainly Special K hasn't helped matters. (David Jarman/David Nir)
Maybe you think, since Kos doesn't like Kucinich too much, that perhaps this site isn't an unbiased source. Let's look at the Ohio media.
When I got the email today from the Kucinich campaign, I thought I must have read it wrong. I mean, Democrats don't support Republican dirty tricks intended to discourage and confuse voters and take away their ability to choose and influence their representatives, do they?
So I read it again, and sadly, I hadn't misread. That is exactly what Dennis Kucinich is supporting.
From the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich is trying to sway the Columbus battle over Ohio's congressional map by placing robo-calls that target legislators in Cleveland who will be voting on new district lines.
Over the weekend, Kucinich's campaign placed robo-calls that asked voters to urge state legislators including Lakewood's Nickie Antonio and Cleveland's Mike Foley to back a map that would include a congressional district based in western Cuyahoga County, which Kucinich currently represents.
...
Both legislators said Kucinich, a former Democratic mayor of Cleveland, also placed personal calls to them with a similar message.
Kucinich told Antonio the GOP-drawn plan that Ohio's Democratic Party wants to overturn, which would place him in a district with Toledo's Marcy Kaptur, would be winnable for him.
And if that isn't enough, according to one state legislator, Kucinich threatened black legislators that he would run against Democratic Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, who represents Cleveland's other, black majority congressional district, if they didn't help pass the Republican gerrymander.
U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich threatened to challenge a black incumbent in a minority district if a new congressional map wasn't drawn to his liking, the head of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus said Tuesday.
In his diary Alan Grayson called Dennis Kucinich a hero. I think that is terribly misguided. Dennis Kucinich is a traitor to the Democratic Party. He sold out Ohio Democrats, and significantly harmed our (national Democrats) ability to retake the House of Representatives so that he could get a better chance of staying in Congress.
Please do not support Dennis Kucinich. Please support the Democratic incumbent he is running against, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur.
