Please print the list of corporate sponsors of Komen and do your best to make them take responsibility for supporting craven politics at the cost of women's health.
Yoplait seems to think that corporate sponsorship of an organization has no influence on organization policies. Click through to see Yoplait's response to my complaint on their Facebook page:
From Yoplait via Facebook:
Thank you for your passion on this issue. As you know, Yoplait has a long history of supporting women in the fight against breast cancer. Yoplait was not involved in decisions to change the Susan G. Komen for the Cure grant process. Questions or concerns on that issue should be directed to the Komen organization.
My response:
Thank you for your response! I have directed my questions and concerns at Komen, to no avail. Perhaps you should be involved in Komen's decisions as a major corporate sponsor. There are plenty of yogurt companies that do NOT support organizations that DENY cancer screening to the poor. Until this is resolved, I will continue to boycott Yoplait products, as I am boycotting Komen events and all other corporate sponsors of Komen (and this is a big list). I don't agree with Komen's policies and will not support their sponsors because of this.
