Last week in an interview on MSNBC, Massachusetts senatorial candidate Elizabeth Warren made the following comments about whether members of Congress should be allowed to own stock (see above video):
“Either don’t own it or put it in a blind trust where someone else manages it and you literally can’t see what’s in there,” Warren said. “I realize there are some wealthy individuals – I’m not one of them – but some wealthy individuals who have a lot of stock portfolios, but you’re exactly right. I don’t understand how people can be out there in the House, in the Senate, and they get inside information and they’re making critical decisions.”
Massachusetts Republicans have responded to this comment with a blatantly dishonest video that cuts Warren off in mid-sentence to make it appear she said she wasn't wealthy, even though she was obviously saying was that she did not own a lot of stock:
Masschusettes Republicans are really putting the "hole" in "Masshole" with this one.
Don't let them get away with it. Fight back by contributing $5 to Elizabeth Warren on Orange to Blue.
