I don't care how much money the wingnuts and the RNC throw at this election.
The statewide survey of registered voters shows Obama outpolling Mitt Romney 47 percent to 43 percent. Obama also enjoys a considerable lead over Newt Gingrich — 51 percent to 37 percent — and smaller but clear leads over Rick Santorum and Ron Paul.
The reason? The better American's get to know these clowns the less likely they are to vote for them. That is why every Not-Romney has risen then flopped.
When even the more vocal conservative blogosphere cant even make up a valid reason to actually vote for one of them, you just know they have a major motivational problem. In this so called critical year for conservatives they cannot even get more Republicans involved than the last time around the sorry block, not even when there is a Muslim Kenyan in the White House.
If they cannot get motivated now that the socialists have invaded paradise behind either one mealy mouthed rich fraud or a loon, the outcome is inevitable.
Michelle Bachmann was right, she was the perfect candidate, well, if you are a loony that is so full of social wedge issues that you have become constipated; she was the perfect candidate.
I'm not surprised any of the serious Republican prospects decided to give this one a miss, they know they cannot placate the rabid base and appear to be sane enough to be elected by the majority.
I'm so happy this circus is still on the road, the longer the marquee stays up the more idiotic and irresponsible they will appear to be, perhaps as some on the right have speculated, this is the event horizon of the conservative movement. One hopes that they make a U-turn and come back to reality. People are just trying to get by and spreading a message of fear and loathing doesn't work. One can but hope.
Now to get the Democratic Party to stop following the right wing off the edge of the world, then we will have a chance of actually working together.
