...in the GOP primary, not the General Election! What I mean is that since Rick Santorum is obviously insane, he would be much more beatable in a G.E. than would Mitt Romney, for instance.
Today, I will mail in my voter registration form, switching my party to Republican so I can vote in the upcoming GOP primary. I live in California, so our primary takes place in June.
In any case, there are several reasons why it is your moral responsibility to deliberately sabotage the GOP primary.
1. To counteract GOP corruption of their own primary. We know now that the GOP has not been honest regarding how they have run their primaries and caucuses. Shenanigans have taken place in Iowa and Maine. They will do anything to get their chosen man, Mitt Romney, the nomination because they know he's the only one with a snowball's chance in hell of defeating Barack Obama. If we all register as Republicans and vote for Rick Santorum, it would be a nice counter-balance to this corruption.
2. Even though Barack Obama has not been a spectacular president, he is a good sight better than the idiots on the other side of the aisle. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be standing in the f*cking soup line for the next four to eight years. So in order to save our country from the economic catastrophe that would ensue from a Republican presidency, I urge you to all register as Republicans and vote for the most beatable legitimate contender for the GOP nomination, Rick Santorum. Please do not be fooled; the polls which show Obama doing better against Romney than Santorum are flawed because they don't take into account the fact that the "moderate middle" likes Romney better than Santorum.
3. The GOP is truly an evil entity. Even though technically it is dishonest to screw with someone else's primary, the fact that the Republican Party is evil makes it immediately justified to infiltrate it and destroy it. Also, they did it to us in 2008.
In short, you and everyone you know must register as Republicans as quickly as possible so you can vote for Rick Santorum in the primary. I know I'm going to!
