Oh come on Kossacks. Why on earth would we burn bucks by spending our limited and precious financial resources for Republican primary candidates?
Let the party that declares cynical and unending wars on minorities, voting rights, gays, social programs for the impoverished do itself in on its own. Let the Party that serves as tools for corporate interests (H/T to Horace) that are fixated on a crusade to dismantle unions that have the nerve to protect worker's rights die on its own sword.
Let the GOP blast its own Taliban leaning rockets (H/T to Horace) outside of mainstream American opinion without any help from us.
Oh, let's not forget about the GOP war on women's rights.
Maybe the Republican Party should rename itself the American Taliban Party.
Seriously, do we really want to stand side by side with the face of unbridled greed by voting for a candidate that exudes hatred, anger and contempt for everything that embraces a tolerant and normal American ethos?
Let the GOP continue to dwell in the devil's sewer of loserville greed (H/T to Horace) and hate while we work 24/7/365 on behalf of our fellow Americans.
The higher place includes supporting our unemployed Kossacks who work tirelessly around the clock to inform us about current events that are routinely ignored by the mainstream media.
Let us support our occupy friends and neighbors who have been pepper sprayed, beaten up and arrested for peacefully assembling while tea party folks, some of whom showed up at 2009 town hall meetings, also known as hate fests, with AK 47s strapped to their backs in places like Arizona. The police and the mainstream media did zip about this.
But Faux "News" and CNN loved the tea party story. For some reason, both loath the occupy movement. /snark.
Let us show some love for Horace Boothroyd III for his tireless and altruistic efforts toward fairness, accountability and justice in our broken society.
Horace would like to attend the Netroots Nation meeting in June. But he is unemployed and could use a little love from his friends. He needs $2,000 but so far he has raised only $50.00.
Please read more about Horace below the squiggle.
Horace spends a great deal of his personal time keeping our community informed about the occupy movement. He brings our attention to world wide events and domestic issues that many of us would have otherwise missed. He has spent countless hours doing research on the occupy movement and by providing live stream coverage of some of the occupy events.
He does it all on his own dime while unemployed.
I am a progressive blogger in Texas. I met Horace through one of the numerous Daily Kos communities.
Horace has done one hell of a job of informing activists everywhere, including those of us in the South about global and domestic issues that we may not have otherwise noticed. At least not where the mainstream media is concerned, especially "news" sources in the southern regions of the U.S.
Thanks to Horace's tireless research efforts he has provided me and others with you tube clips and links to information that bloggers can upload on blogs, facebook, twitter and comment sections in Texas online newspapers.
Information is power. Information can change opinion. Information can change voting patterns.
Please show a little love by supporting my friend Horace.
