I had no idea the former Governor of Massachusettes could be this decisive or tough, and be willing to take on one of the sacred cows of his own party.
And yet, here he is, willing to lay it all on the line, putting principle before party, saying what needs to be said, regardless of who it hurts.
Here's what he said late today:
"It's not the language I would have used."
That, my friends, is bold leadership.
Isn't it refreshing to see Romney being so forceful against Rush calling a woman a "slut"? Don't you think this is his "Sista Souljah" moment, and that female voters will flock to his side? Isn't it nice to see that a conservative can't call anyone a "slut" and get away with it? Aren't I tired of sarcastic, rhetorical questions? Is this even a diary?
