I found out that a Turbo Tax ad ran today on Limbaugh's show. Join me after the orange squiggle for my correspondence with the Chief Communicaitons Officer of Inuit.
My email to Rob Lanesey:
Hello Mr. Lanesey,
I have been a customer of Turbotax for more than a decade, using your product for my tax return every year.
It has come to my attention that TurboTax advertises on the Rush Limbaugh radio show. Due to his recent outlandish misogynistic outbursts, I can no longer do business with any company so wreckless as to actually support this misogony by advertising on his show.
Since I can no longer do business with you as a company, I will now explore other options for tax return software. This comes at an interesting time as had I not found out that you advertised TurboTax on Rush Limbaugh's show today, I would have been purchasing the product this evening as I am ready to prepare my 2011 tax returns.
Sincerely,
One minute later, this was his reply:
Walter,
Thank you for contacting us. The Rush Limbaugh show is on Intuit’s ‘do not advertise’ list. A TurboTax ad ran in error and will not run again. We are working with our media buying agency to understand exactly what happened and to put processes in place to ensure our buying guidelines are strictly adhered to at all times.
Regards,
Rob

Take Turbo Tax off the list of Limbaugh advertisers. :D
6:12 PM PT: I had to update this and say that I canceled my Netflix account today because Netflix is sticking with Limbaugh.
