Today Rush Limbaugh returned to one of his favorite themes, the pervasive victimization of conservatives by Liburls. Rush cast himself as a Martyr, a victim of persecution for his noble mission of molding "fully informed" Dittoheads to parrot his infinite wisdom. Warning the links are to Limbaugh's site.
Everything's Cool Here
I often say to myself this is the league that I play in, and I know the rules. And I know that they're not fair. It's just the way it is. I don't lose sleep over it or cry about it. I will call attention to the hypocrisy and all that, but as you know, we laugh about it. My whole aim is to have as many fully informed voting Americans as possible. If I ever had to attach a mission statement to this show, that's what it would be. So there's no lying to you. There's no misleading you. I don't want you all involved in the public arena, believing a bunch of stuff that isn't true. Policy-wise I'm talking about here.
We're not like them. Even when these people make these vicious, crude remarks, we don't demand they be shut up. We don't demand their advertisers leave 'em. We don't demand that they be fired. We don't demand that they quit. That's what they do. We're not afraid of words, and we're not the ones that lie about them. It's the other way around. When you have a moral core, that's a firm foundation, a moral code and core is a firm foundation. Now, everybody strays from it; nobody's perfect; everybody falls off of the moral foundation they're on. You try to get back on it as quickly as you can when that happens. We don't try to pretend there isn't a moral code and we don't advocate for the abolition of the moral code, all of which they do. My primary source of strength, folks, is you. A little bit of me, too.
During another segment of his show Limbaugh demonstrated how much he lies about his political opponents, by attributing absurd asperations to the Democratic Party's "kook base".
As Gas Prices Rise, Obama Pushes His Green Energy Money Laundering Operation
He opposed building the Keystone pipeline to get oil from Canada, that would create eventually tens of thousands jobs, by the way. But he doesn't have that because his left-wing, fringe kook base would be really mad at him because they hate oil. They hate progress. They hate technological advancement. If they had their way, we would all be living like they do in the hills of Afghanistan.
Libruls hate jobs. Libruls hate progress. Why else would Libruls want to move toward alternative sources of energy? Rush explains how moving to alternative sources of energy is impossible.
Folks, there's no substitute for oil. There's no replacement for it. We are not going to get off of oil. We are not going to have automobiles, airplanes, anything that moves, without oil. It isn't going to happen, because there is no alternative.
What a surprise! Limbaugh's wise counsel indicates that Americans should just leave all our eggs in Big Oil's basket. Climate Change? That's a hoax by Libruls and scientific freeloaders to increase government's size and control over every aspect our our daily lives.
Over the past year of listening to his show I've learned a lot about how Rush Limbaugh constructs the fantasy realm for his listeners who quickly incorporate his latest preposterous claims into their worldview. A frightening world where everything of value is threatened by nefarious plots by Libruls. Libruls who are motivated by pure maliciousness.
Nothing is ever Rush Limbaugh's fault. His listeners blame Fluke, the Librul s--t who is on a mission to savage their courageous hero and oracle. That's no accident after the thorough hatchet job Limbaugh did on Fluke that Rush continued to elaborate on in his supposed "apology" to Fluke. Limbaugh was correct about one thing. He's not like us.
