In the previous posts, plenty of reasons have been stated about why we should FLUSH RUSH. Basically his widely broadcast diarrhea of the mouth has led us to the locked-horns impasse we're at right now with regard to civility in civic and political discourse. rushBlow hates EVERYTHING (except the irrational GOP and its lousy choices for president). HATE is his motivator, his soul mate, his raison d'etre.
Among all the comments in this series, this by Kossack mmacdDE is a standout:
There's one big reason why rush should be taken off [AFR].
He makes horrible and disparaging remarks about the commander in chief. If a soldier talked in public about the pres the way rush does, he'd be court martialed.
And that's why he should be gone.

Kossack Sun dog is not down with that statement and counters:
Making "horrible and disparaging remarks," about the president needs to be protected. During Bush, just describing what he was and what he was doing caused one to say horrible things about the president. Because he was, you know, horrible. It's part of the Rove strategy. Be so outrageous that the opposition can't describe you accurately without sounding 'extremist' themselves. There has to be a distinction here. The problem with Rush isn't that he's criticizing the Commander in Chief. It's that he's lying to do it.
And I agree, rushBlow is a filthy liar on mostly everything he bloviates about. If, however, he had criticized and lied about bu$h on air on AFR during time of war the way he criticizes and lies about Obama during time of war, the right-wing howls of rage of TRAITOR TRAITOR TRAITOR would've blown all our eardrums.
If any one of you would like to assist today, I ask that you tweet this info to your followers and in general:
Operation FLUSH RUSH from AFR at 19,700 sigs in just 6 days! 25K needed. Plz add your name now to WH Petition. Thanks! https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/...
It's day 7 and I'll change the total as the day goes on.
I've been advised by Kossack oceanview (♥♥♥♥♥) to comb FB for teacher-related pages and so that will be my work for today.
And a question: Is anyone who posts on the Detroit Free Press NOT a dittohead? Jeeesh.
On June 9, 1954, the 30th day of the Army-McCarthy Hearings, McCarthy accused Fred Fisher, one of the junior attorneys at Welch's law firm, of associating while in law school with the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), a group which J. Edgar Hoover sought to have the U.S. Attorney General designate as a Communist front organization. Welch dismissed Fisher's association with the NLG as a youthful indiscretion and attacked McCarthy for naming the young man before a nationwide television audience without prior warning or previous agreement to do so:[citation needed]
Until this moment, Senator, I think I have never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness. Fred Fisher is a young man who went to the Harvard Law School and came into my firm and is starting what looks to be a brilliant career with us. Little did I dream you could be so reckless and so cruel as to do an injury to that lad. It is true that he will continue to be with Hale and Dorr. It is, I regret to say, equally true that I fear he shall always bear a scar needlessly inflicted by you. If it were in my power to forgive you for your reckless cruelty I would do so. I like to think that I am a gentle man but your forgiveness will have to come from someone other than me.
When McCarthy tried to renew his attack, Welch interrupted him:
Senator, may we not drop this? We know he belonged to the Lawyers Guild. Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?
