Itzl gets another follow-up vet visit tonight.
He's doing really well. Almost the only time he limps anymore is when he first gets up ad if he wants to go really fast.
Preventing him from going really fast now that he's well into his convalescence is tough. It means sometimes putting him on a leash so I can slow him down.
Even though the vet wants to go ahead an operate on his other knee (he has a Class 2 luxating patella) in the next week or two, I am extremely reluctant. I want him to fully recover from this and to completely heal from the accidental overdose he got. I think he needs to live a while without any drugs and to get completely healthy again.
Xoco's glad he's feeling better, but the little pill often tries to incite him into doing things he shouldn't be doing yet - like running and wrestling.
Here, she's being uber cute in her own little Xoco way. Since it was raining all weekend, we didn't do all the yard work that needs doing and the dogs spent a lot of time on the sofa napping and playing.
