Itzl is doing very well, and to come back for his final check up in one month.
He's a bit stiff when he first gets up, and he lifts his leg when he wants to go fast, but since Itzl listens to verbal commands and will drop that leg and use it when I tell him, that's not a big issue.
This morning, he was in fine form, as you can see from the pictures below.
He did his morning stretches - caught when he was almost done and without a flash, so it's rather dark. But he still looks so intent on getting that stretch just right.
Even though I don't have to do it, since I am the first person in at work all the time, I usually make a pot of coffee for everyone else (I don't drink coffee often, much preferring tea or water).
Here, he's waiting patiently for me to finish with kitchen duties, almost dozing as he waits.
Then the coffee pot alarm goes off. I see the flashing light, but Itzl wants to make sure I understand what I'm supposed to do, so he's up and staring at me.
Getting my attention
When I snap his picture instead, he turns around and looks at me from his other side, just to be sure I know he's serious about alerting.
So I ease his mind by turning the coffee pot alarm off and removing the spent filter.
When we return to our desk, he settles in and watches to see what I'll do next.
