Rush gets his blurbs the same way you're getting this now. Off the web. He takes someone else's items and mashes them up, and serves up his favorite parts.
Minus critical facts, of course.
This period's topics:
Democrats hate white working women.
We're all being forced to pay for abortions at Planned Parenthood.
Obama is allowing the killing of bald eagles. But he's forcing birth control on the catholic church.
And one of his advertisers is having fun with him too.
It is, analysts say, the most serious rebellion against “The Rush Limbaugh Show” in the more than 20 years that the show has been broadcast.
Karen Finney, democratic strategist is launching a war on white working women. They voted for Santorum, rather than for women's health. They responded to a code suggesting conservative equals racist in his speeches.
A caller didn't understand where race came into the republican primary. She must have heard 'blah people too.'
Kathleen Sibelius, HHS, is forcing everyone to pay a dollar a month for abortions. What she did was pull funding for a Texas program because it excluded Planned Parenthood clinics. So it's not that she's making you pay more. She's making Texas include a program that does women's health care services from that funding. It doesn't use that money for abortion services. But that would make Rush's rant invalid. So he left it out.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the decision in Houston on Friday, prompting a furious response from Texas Governor Rick Perry, who called it an "egregious federal overreach."
At the heart of the dispute between the administration of President Barack Obama and Texas is the divisive issue of abortion.
Rush is pleading for love for his guy, the flip flopper. Mitt Romney won the most delegates. Just vote for the guy. And Rush officially hates Newt Gingrich for denying votes and delegates which should go to Rush's boss, Mitt Romney. Repeated it. Repeated again. He is not happy with Newt. Kiss that ring, Tiffany Boy! (Followers will note that Winning For America, Newt's group, has been part of the national ad buy for Rush's show. Where are they now?)
A rather enraged guy identifying himself as part american indian was mad that Obama is allowing a certain tribe of Native American Indians to kill bald eagles. Because they are the national bird.
Rush loved that. He turned it into a statement on how Obama, related to Derrick Bell's critical race theory, (of which Soledad O'Brien knows nothing about) and how Obama wants different rules for different people.
The Northern Arapaho Tribe in Wyoming won a suit, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued a permit allowing the killing of two bald eagles for religious purposes. (Fox News web version is the AP story.)
Rush turned that into freedom of religion for the Arapahos, no freedom for catholics on contraception.
The part Rush left out (you knew that was coming, didn't you?) is the trial tracks back to the Bush era, In 2005 a bald eagle was shot. In 2006, a federal judge dismissed the charge finding the permit wasn't required by the Arapahos.
Filed late last year, the lawsuit is essentially the continuation of a bitter legal fight that followed after tribal member Winslow Friday killed a bald eagle without a permit in 2005 for use in his tribe's Sun Dance.
Rush never allows facts to stand in his way. Ever.
