Mitt Romney's Etch-a-Sketch moment leads me to think that it would be so easy for the media to step up and do their job. That any 5 year old, if given the information, could ask the right question.
Follow me below the delicious orange croissant for the question...
"Why should any voter put their confidence in you if you plan on shaking up your ideological Etch-a-Sketch for the fall campaign, what is to prevent you from doing it again should you win the election? How do the people know what they are voting for?"
How he is not hammered with this question day and night for the foreseeable future is beyond me. Most people here are using this to write off his campaign (and rightly so). But I have little faith in the American public at large to remember.
Several weeks ago, Santorum claimed that Democrats are anti science. Yet no one (to the best of my knowledge) in the media then asked him this question...
"If the Democrats are anti-science and you are pro-science, can you please explain to us your views regarding evolution vs creationism?"
It seems so easy if you have access to ask the right questions of our political leaders, yet I find myself banging my cranium in frustration day after day that the easy questions go unasked.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, but I'm pressed for time. What questions would you ask of our political leaders that the media won't?
