This is what I want to see, and I'm not joking in the least:
When President Obama debates Mitt Romney, I want him to have an iPad with him on the lectern.
It should be pre-loaded with every possible video of Romney's greatest hits, both from the present Republican nomination campaign (asserting his severe conservativosity, promising to dump Planned Parenthood, endorsing Ryan's budgets, denigrating unions, you name it), as well as past speeches and comments extolling the Romneycare mandates, contradicting himself over and back again, etc.
When Romney comes up with a whopper during a debate -- which should be about 30 seconds in -- Obama should quickly click on the relevant polar-opposite Romney statement(s), hold the iPad up to the camera and microphone, and simply play back the hypocrisy for the nation to behold.
For more, please turn to page 2.
Then here's the kicker:
After playing the damning evidence, the President should then click on a customized iPad Etch-a-Sketch App, shake the iPad, and watch the Old Romney instantly fade away.
If he can't do this during a debate, when it would be most effective and seen by the most people (and replayed a billion times thereafter), he should at least do a virtual performance like this in a major campaign speech. Highlight "before" and "after" (and "after again") Romney statements on a customized iPad Etch-a-Sketch, then shake and erase.
Seriously, perhaps some of the wizard programmers and video editors out there can create a version of just such a demonstration, post it up (even on the App Store!), and just watch it go viral!
Ah, if only I had my youth and free time and tech skills...
