So Kossacks you were right, of course you were...

In my last diary about Michael Kobulnicky, the Tea Party Leader (he says he is, they say he isn't, not any more anyhow) lots of you wrote the update before Michael Kobulnicky did.

Sex Assault Suspect Claims It Was Consensual

sigh...............over the orange satanic squiggle we go.......................

Attorneys for a La Mesa man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman on Fiesta Island, said Friday that their client claims the two adults had a consensual sexual encounter.
Kobulnicky's lawyers made a lot of claims about the victim, questioning her credibility, after two of her acquaintances contacted their law office.
Kobulnicky said the woman was hitch-hiking when he picked her up in his car and at that point they had a "consensual sexual encounter" his attorneys said Friday.

Kobulnicky said he left the woman at Fiesta Island at her request because it was near her home

Yeah, because being left on an island with your bags of shopping is so much more convenient than being left at your front door.
NBCSanDiego received a statement from the San Diego County District Attorney's office Friday saying that they only file charges when they believe they can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
Kobulnicky is due back in court March 26. He’s being held on $500,000 bond.
As before, innocent until proven guilty. As expected this woman is going to be dragged through the mire.

Just thought I'd keep you all up to date.

sigh...................................

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
