Pity poor Sarah Palin. Ever since she led John McCain's presidential campaign into a stunning defeat, quit her job as governor of Alaska because governoring is haaaaaaaaaaard (and doesn't pay very well), failed to see her reality TV career take off, and lacked the discipline and courage to actually put her loads of cash where her incoherent mouth is by actually running for president, she's been inserting herself into all matter of issues that have nothing to do with her, desperately insisting that she is
too still relevant also.
Her latest? Giving Rick Santorum the ol' attaboy for using a naughty word to describe a reporter's question to him.
Santorum's response to that liberal leftist in-the-tank-for-Obama press character really revealed some of Rick Santorum's character. And it was good. And it was strong. And it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting a conservative [sic] words, putting words in his mouth, taking things out of context and even just making things up. So when I heard Rick Santorum's response, I was like, 'Well, welcome to my world, Rick, and good on ya.
Here's what we can surmise from She Who Cannot Name a Single Newspaper: Sarah has no idea what this story is. She doesn't know the name of the reporter (Jeff Zeleny) or the newspaper for which he works (the
New York Times) or the question he asked Santorum (if he really thinks Romney is the worst Republican to run against Obama) or why it matters (actually, it doesn't). In fact, if you think Sarah Palin has ever read anything by Zeleny or could offer a single example of his supposed in-the-tank-for-Obamaness (other than, of course, Rick Santorum saying "bullshit"), I've got a bridge to nowhere to sell you.
But hey, a fellow conservative accused a reporter of bullshit, so naturally Palin has to issue her standard "blah blah blah liberal media blah blah" garbage. Besides, as the 2012 election ramps up and Sarah's decision to sit it out makes her evermore irrelevant, she's got to seize every possible opportunity to remind us that she's still here and still hates the liberal leftist in-the-tank-for-Obama press characters who gotcha'd her into showing the country just how dumb she really is.
Tick tock, Sarah. I can see your 15th minute from my house.
