Reich notes, "we also see some major declines in terms of median wage. And that's particularly true for the bottom 90 percent."
the percentage of Americans with insurance who got insurance from employers fell to 53.5 percent, down sharply from 63.6 percent in 2007 ... There has been a substantial erosion of health care benefits for the bottom 90 percent.

It doesn't seem to me that this is the time to adopt an austerity budget, shift more taxes from the rich to the middle class, lower corporate taxes, allow tax free repatriation of foreign profits, repeal ACA or much of anything else on the republican agenda.
Instead, it's time to help the rest of us to recover from the recession and share in the economic good news. That means better jobs as well as more jobs, equal access to affordable health care, equal access to good education, equal access to credit, equal opportunities across the board.
