The Massachusetts Republican Party has a new web video attacking Elizabeth Warren. It’s pretty straightforward conservative fare: a racially-tinged attack on a Democrat for supporting the expenditure of public funds on a demographic group that Republican-leaning voters might not like.
Specifically, the focus of this video is Warren’s unapologetic support for a Massachusetts version of the DREAM Act that would allow the children of undocumented immigrants to pay in-state tuition rates at Massachusetts public colleges and universities:
Notably, the Massachusetts Republican Party did not turn off the "like and dislike" feature on the video when they posted in to YouTube, so you can click here and give it a quick thumbs down.
It is also worth noting how, even through the ominous music and grainy footage of a video meant to attack her, Elizabeth Warren is still able to shine. On two separate occasions she refuses to back down from her positions, first from 0:10 to 0:15:
Interviewer: Do you support a [border] wall?
Warren: No.
Interviewer: Could you say that louder? I don’t think I understood.
Warren: No!
Next, from 0:15 to 0:28, check out her response to why she holds what might not be a popular position:
Interviewer: In-state tuition for the kids of illegal immigrations. So, number one, the people of Massachusetts oppose it, the Democratic House of Representatives overwhelmingly opposed it in Massachusetts, why do you support it Elizabeth Warren?
Warren: Because I think it’s right.
If you are looking for someone who will not abandon her principles in order to get elected, Elizabeth Warren is your candidate.
