Last month, Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch wrote a horribly sexist op-ed where she compared gubernatorial candidate Kathleen Falk to a prostitute, when she said that Falk "went out and got herself a sugar daddy" referring to Falk getting support from unions in Wisconsin.
Then, last week pictures the Las Vegas Ferrari Club posted from their visit to the local Hooters became widely disseminated because many featured pics of Walker's communications director Ciara Matthews. This was covered in the local paper, which in turn has sent the rightwing into a tizzy.
Now, the campaign has removed the "sugar daddy" op-ed and have scrubbed their site clean of all mention of it.
Is there a connection between the two? Yeah think?
Let's see... you just happen to scrub you website of the "sugar daddy" comments at the exact same time your communications director is all over web making suggestive poses with wealthy Ferrari owners during her time as a "Hooters Girl." I would say that was more than just a coincidence.
Here's a little pointer: If you're going to essentially call your opponent a prostitute, you might want to make sure your communications director didn't work at a place five years ago who has stated that their "primary function" is not to serve food, but to provide "vicarious sexual recreation" to their customers.
