Mitt Romney said he would not go into Pakistan to kill or even capture Bin Laden.

Aug. 4, 2007

"Romney attacks Obama over Pakistan warning."

ROMNEY: "I do not concur in the words of Barack Obama in a plan to enter an ally [Pakistan] of ours... I don't think those kinds of comments help in this effort to draw more friends to our effort..."There is a war being waged by terrorists of different types and nature across the world. We want, as a civilized world, to participate with other nations in this civilized effort to help those nations reject the extreme with them."

That first sentence says it all: Mitt Romney would not enter Pakistan to get Bin Laden.

Seems to me, Mitt Romney is jealous of President Obama because President Obama had the guts to find Bin Laden in Pakistan and then order the mission to kill Bin Laden in Pakistan.

Over the past year, Mitt Romney has shown signs that he is so envious of President Obama's strength, brilliance, courage and leadership that he actually wants to be President Obama so he takes President Obama's achievements and claims them as his own.

I'm not saying Mitt Romney just wants to be President, I am saying Mitt Romney wants to actually be President Obama.

Look at Romney's reaction to President Obama's very successful Auto Rescue Plan - Mitt is falsely claiming President Obama used "Mitts" Bankruptcy Plan when that is completely false.

See, the thing is, even in Mitt's "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" Plan - Mitt did not have the balls to tell Americans the Federal Government had no choice but to give Auto a Loan because the Banks had begun to collapse in 2007 and finally did collapse in late 2008.  Meaning, Mitt Romney was either too stupid or didn't have the guts to tell Americans that no private company would have gotten a loan to help Auto stay in operation during their Restructuring process.

And now this, the killing of Bin Laden.  Mitt Romney did not have the guts to as Mitt would "not enter Pakistan" to kill Bin Laden -- those were his words.

Not only that, but John McCain, who in 2008 said Obama was "naive" to think any President should enter Pakistan to kill Bin Laden, would not have had the guts to enter Pakistan to kill Bin Laden either and neither would a host of other would-be Presidents and neither did President Bush or VP Dick Cheney.

Look, in 2007, in order for Candidate Obama to know that Bin Laden was most likely in Pakistan, so did Bush and Cheney.  Yet, neither Bush nor Cheney had the balls to enter Pakistan and kill Bin Laden.

Bush and Cheney failed Foreign Policy caused America to spend Trillions looking for imaginary WMD, caused Bin Laden to slip through their fingers and Bush nor Cheney had the guts to actually capture or kill Bin Laden, not even when they knew Bin Laden was in Tora Bora in March 2002.

March 13, 2002 following the failure of the Bush/Cheney Administration to capture BinLaden in Tora Bora:

BUSH: "So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you...I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him."
It's becoming more and more clear to me that the Republicans are very, very jealous of President Obama because President Obama is a strong leader who has made brilliant decisions both in foreign and domestic policies.

Mitt Romney is lying, and so is Ed Gillespie, Karl Rove, John McCain: Not "any" President would have entered Pakistan to kill Bin Laden ... certainly not Romney or McCain who both said they would not enter Pakistan to kill Bin Laden.  And certainly not President Bush or Dick Cheney as they failed to kill Bin Laden in their entire 8 years in office.

Dream on Mitt ... Dream on.  Mitt Romney is weak on Foreign Policy because Mitt's Foreign Policy Advisers are the very same Bush/Cheney Foreign Policy Advisers who: did not want to kill Bin Laden when he was in Tora Bora and who also gave us Imaginary WMD.

NOTE: It took me a while to change the word from 'balls' to guts because I had never edited a Diary and did not know to "save changes" & "publish changes" routine.

My apologies to anyone offended by my original choice of words. :)

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
