But does it strike anyone else as odd that the International Space Station is now being used as a platform for promotion of a game? Oh, sure, there's a brief nod to the science, describing how gravity bends the trajectory of a launched bird, but, really, is this what our voyage into space has come down to?
There appears to be no clear vision as to what the U.S. Space Program should be. Aside from the periodic shift changes at the ISS (using Russian rockets) there are no manned programs underway. As far as the manned space missions go, there are no defined missions nor are there timelines to develop any.
In short, it would appear that the function of this country's manned space program now is to promote games for portable devices.
We've come a long way from "One step for a man."
Oh…and here's the
link to the game.
