Mitt Romney says he sees no connection with Bin Laden and the U.S. Economy in interview with Charlie Rose:
ROMNEY: “I think what you’ve seen so far with the President and I won’t rehearse all of the attacks, but you began with Romney wouldn’t have gone after Osama bin Laden. These silly kinds of attacks, it’s like, what has that [killing Bin Laden] got to do with getting our economy going?...These are important issues people care about. The President’s not talking about them. My campaign is.” – Mitt Romney
~ Mitt Romney; May 2012 Interview with CBS
Romney was making three points:
1) Mitt Romney sees no connection between Bin Laden and the Economy which he underscores by saying, "what has that [killing Bin Laden] got to do with getting our economy going?"
2) In 2007 Mitt Romney publicly stated he would not enter Pakistan to kill Bin Laden. Yet, in this interview Mitt is saying that for President Obama to point out Mitt's 2007 stance is "silly."
3) Mitt Romney infers "the People" don't care about the killing of Bin Laden.
Bin Laden's Acts Had a Direct Role in U.S Economy, U.S Debt, U.S Deficit & U.S Jobs:
Regarding Mitt's comment: "what has that got to do with getting our economy going?" Clearly there is a connection between the US Economy and Bin Laden.
Because of Bin Laden, when Mitt Romney's Foreign Policy Advisers were working in the Bush/Cheney Administration, they were able to create a boogie-man to justify spending over $4Trillion Dollars fighting two wars.
Even Bin Laden knew he had a tremendous adverse affect on the US Economy.
In 2001, CNN Reported:
Video tape of Bin Laden shows Bin Laden saying:
"the September 11 attacks have 'shaken the throne of America and hit hard the American economy at its heart and its core.' Bin Laden said that if the U.S. economy suffers enough, Americans will withdraw from those countries mentioned.
~ 2001 Video Tape of Bin Laden
CNN continued:
The alleged mastermind behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon said they were easy to carry out and have shown America's economic strength to have fragile underpinnings. "It collapsed very easily."
CNN terrorism expert Peter Bergen, author of a recently published book on bin Laden, said the significance of the latest videotape is the suggestion "bin Laden is willing to martyr himself" and his triumphant characterization of how the four hijackings "collapsed" the mighty U.S. economy.
A few days before the 2004 election, a released a video tape of Bin Laden showed Bin Laden saying:
Bin Laden: "We are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. "Every dollar of al Qaeda defeated a million dollars, by the permission of Allah, besides the loss of a huge number of jobs," he said. "As for the economic deficit, it has reached record astronomical numbers estimated to total more than a trillion dollars."
~2004
Damn, even Bin Laden knew there was a connection between himself and the U.S. Economy, why doesn't Mitt?
Therefore, any thinking American knows killing Bin Laden means the U.S Economy has one less thing to worry about. Also the death of Bin Laden means the U.S will reduce cost of war, reduce debt on war, reduce deficit caused by war.
Mitt Romney would not have killed Bin Laden and it is not "silly" to say so -
Indisputable FACT: President Obama entered Pakistan to kill Bin Laden and Mitt Romney said he would not enter Pakistan to kill Bin Laden.
2007, "Romney Attacks Obama Over Pakistan Warning"
I do not concur in the words of Barack Obama in a plan to enter an ally [Pakistan] of ours... I don't think those kinds of comments help in this effort to draw more friends to our effort," Romney told reporters on the campaign trail.

Therefore,
any thinking American knows that since the only way to have killed Bin Laden was to be willing to enter Pakistan,
Mitt Romney would not have ordered the killing of Bin Laden because he said he would not enter Pakistan to go after him -- duh.
Someone should tell Mitt Romney that killing Bin Laden even made Wall Street breathe a sigh of relief
Mitt Romney is wrong, the People do care that Bin Laden is Dead -
Any and all thinking Americans care that Bin Laden is dead. Especially the wives, sons, daughters, mothers and fathers of U.S. Troops who died in the two wars. The soldiers who came home maimed also care and their loved ones who are caring for them care.
Since 2001, every thinking American cared and wanted Bin Laden captured or killed. Luckily Mitt Romney lost to John McCain in 2008 and luckily Mitt Romney was not President on May 2, 2011 because in 2007 Mitt Romney said if he were President he would not have entered Pakistan to kill Bin Laden. That's just a fact.
How can Mitt Romney not see a connection between Bin Laden & the U.S Economy?
Mitt Romney spoke volumes when he said, "what has that [killing Bin Laden] got to do with getting our economy going?" It tells me that Republicans think wars are free. That might explain why Bush/Cheney Economic Advisers, who are now Mitt Romney's Economic Advisers, did not freeze the Bush/Cheney Tax Cuts in 2001 in order to pay for the Afghan war -- and it would explain why they extended the Bush/Cheney Tax Cuts in 2003 even though America entered into a second war.
