3:21 PM PT (James L): Results are beginning to trickle in from Indiana. With just two precincts in, Mourdock leads Lugar by a 51-49 margin.
3:27 PM PT (James L): Checking further down the ballot, in IN-08, incumbent GOP Rep. Larry Bucshon has a healthy 63-37 lead over teabagger fave Kristi Risk, while establishment pick Luke Messer leads a split field in IN-05 with 56% of the vote.
3:32 PM PT (James L): With 39 precincts in (1% overall), Mourdock has a 56-44 edge over Lugar.
3:47 PM PT (James L): Some dreams just don't come true: With 10% reporting in IN-08, Bucshon is dispatching Risk by a 63-37 margin.
3:48 PM PT (James L): It's ridiculously early, but note that with three precincts in, establishment pick Brendan Mullen trails Some Dude Dan Morrison by a 68-131 margin in the Democratic primary to replace Joe Donnelly in IN-02. And in IN-05, state Rep. Scott Reske is trailing His Dudeness, Tony Long, by a handful of votes. Again: It's pretty early in the night.
3:55 PM PT (James L): If you'd like to have a look at the county-by-county results, stick this link in your back pocket. Mourdock has widened his lead over Lugar to 59-41 with 161 (of 5330) precincts reporting.
3:57 PM PT (James L): Former Miss Indiana Shelli Yoder leads ex-Lee Hamilton aide Robert Winningham by a 45-32 margin with just 3% of precincts reporting in the IN-09 (D) primary. And statewide, Mourdock has stretched his lead to 61-39. Oof.
