OK, so it's been a while. Life happens. Did get a few things done though.
Framed the old plastic sign and mounted on the fence on the drive into the center.
The frame is made from recycled deck boards, the plastic sign is sandwiched between the frame and the aluminum sheet that used to hold it to the fence here.
Reworked the old banner with a new phone number for the new south center.
I don't deal well with being on the second part of an extension ladder. I just know it's going to collapse under me at any moment. And this sign is a good 15' in the air. My old Boy Scout knots mostly worked on it too.
More beyond the orange Cheeto
The PWB Peeps might remember this:
It's a climbing dome we bought at a closed center. I had to load it back up on the truck this weekend and move it to the North Center where it has a new home.
Moved the see saw airplane to the toddler side so there was room for the dome. Hope they like it and no one gets hurt climbing on it.
Also got after a stopped up toilet. Someone decided lunch was so bad, they'd just throw it down the toilet rather than eat it. Couldn't find the drain snake, but by Sunday, it had broken down enough that we could just plunger it through.
Also spent some time on the deck re-building tricycles. One just needed the seat and handle bars realigned. The other one we had to take an out of commission trike, strip off the front wheel to retrieve a bearing and they place it on the other one to replace a worn out bearing on that one. So I guess our trike count remains the same, 3 in decent running condition and one derelict parts supplier. Turns out, I can go online and claim some repair parts from the original manufacturer. I guess $20 in parts beats buying a new $65 trike.
