That's Orange to Blue candidate (and
Kossack, Eric Griego, who's running for Congress in New Mexico's first congressional district). In case you missed his diary, here's what he says about the ad:
In Congress, I will fight back for working families to hold Wall Street accountable. We need to break up the Wall Street-Washington romance.
Today, I’m proud to become the first congressional candidate in the nation to air a TV ad that stands for a simple, principled idea: Wall Street bankers who broke the law belong in jail.
It's a simple but revolutionary enough idea that it's
making national news. Lots of DFH bloggers have called for the rule of law to actually be applied to the bankers who broke the law and brought the global economy crashing down, but not too many candidates will stick their necks out so far. He's not going to be making too many friends in the finance industry with that message. Considering he's still in a competitive primary race, it was a gutsy move on Griego's part.
It's also going to make him a real target for defeat. As hard as Wall Street is fighting to defeat Elizabeth Warren, they'll fight to keep Griego out of Congress.
Help get Eric Griego in Congress. Pitch in $3 on Orange to Blue.
