This video has been diaried already, here and here and here, but when I opened msn.com and saw this
I had to call it out. Here is the video, for those who haven't seen it.
For f*ck's sake people, Barack H. Obama is President of the United States. His eligibility for that job has been approved at the highest levels of our government, and is beyond question not only from a logical but also from a practical standpoint. He fairly received the Democratic Party nomination, fairly won the election, and I watched him sworn in on the steps of the Capitol. It is just plain stupid to think that he is in any way ineligible to be President. Just. Plain. Stupid. And yet I see just such a little nugget of stupidity, "Obama may be off ballot", right there as one of the "Editor's Picks". GRRRR!!
It's not a joke. It's not funny. It's not the spawn of bad Hollywood script writers, no matter how much it may seem like it. This is our President; and G_d help us even these burfers are our fellow Americans. Sure their yammering contributions to the public discourse are protected by the first amendment of the Constitution, just as my right to write this diary denouncing what they have to say is protected. And sure this is just a single seemingly innocuous video link; but by having the matter put so flippantly, and by not using the President's proper title, the story itself is lent a tithe of credence. These quacks do not deserve credence of any kind from credible news sources.
"AZ SoS to keep President off ballot" See how easy that was.
These people are (or should be) the f*cking fringe; how about treating them like it MSN?
